JUNIOR SITE ENGINEER

• Day to day coordination and site control of direct labour, plant, and sub-contracted activities. • Has the authority to review sub-contractors risk assessment, safe work method, tips, checklist, and the preparation of these as necessary. • Inspection and monitoring of daily construction activities to ensure compliance with the requirements and procedures of the company manuals and project plans. • In-process inspection to verify that work is being carried out according to specific requirements. • Has the authority to issue non-conformance reports, infringement notices, corrective action request, and preventive actions request and to recommend cessation of operations until rectification of same. • Maintain documentation of inspection of work executed by subcontractors. • Responsible to record/updating the stock inventory. • Ensure that all materials and construction are by the requirements for completeness, accuracy, and constructability by applicable building codes. • Monitoring progress of work according to the masterwork program, monitoring construction work as per guideline. • Encourage and maintain an active interest in workplace health and safety, ensure daily housekeeping at workplace and site. • Considering training and education needs to address workplace health and safety issues. • Monitor land movement and subsidence caused during construction. • To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior. • Project Planning & Monitoring, follow-up & prepare a report on worksite progress work closely with Project Manager/Construction Manager on coordination & planning for work. • Prepare, weekly/monthly progress reports, and communicate effectively with the Construction Manager/Project Manager. • Liaise with Purchasing Department to procure any required service and material.
