ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER

· Monitor the cash flow situation of the hotel and inform the Acting General Manager if there are shortages · Ensure excess cash is managed to maximize earning potential · Implement and review financial controls and policies · Analyze financial and management reports as and when required · Manage internal and external audits when they occur. · Provide administrative support to Management with reference to policy enforcement, business advice and operational assistance · Maintains an awareness of local laws, rules and regulations · Provides safekeeping, including proper storage and access for all contracts, leases and other financial records · Ensure all accounts are reviewed and reconciled on monthly basic. · Ensure that the work flows of the finance department are constantly maintained. · Maintain the fixed asset register on an annual basis. · Review and correct daily revenue journal. · Control all balance sheet account by preparation of monthly account reconciliations and actions accordingly. · Specially reviews the accounts payable balance to ensure accuracy and proposes any follow up action.
