Job Summary: The Manufacturing Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of Kaltech manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to manage a diverse team. Requirements: • Exposure and experience in 'ISO / IATF Standard' is an added advantage. • Process development and NPI Project Start-Up (optional). • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a diverse team. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address production issues and improve processes. • Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, senior management, and other stakeholders. • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles. • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. • Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to promote a culture of safety. • Understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial management within a manufacturing context. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage all aspects of the manufacturing process, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to meet production targets and deadlines. • Ensure that all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain quality control systems and procedures. • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators. Foster a positive and productive work environment. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. • Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are followed. Promote a culture of safety within the manufacturing facility. • Oversee inventory levels, manage raw material procurement, and ensure timely availability of materials for production. • Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures. • Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, quality metrics, and operational efficiency to senior management. • Oversee and coordinate all plant-wide maintenance activities to ensure machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Physics, or related technical field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations management. • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles. • Excellent leadership and team management skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
