CLIENT REQUIREMENT: For this assignment we are looking for an experienced PM to lead and manage large-scale business transformation initiatives within the telecom sector. The candidate needs to be highly skilled in detailed project tracking, reporting, and communicating with CXO-level stakeholders….must demonstrate strong abilities to manage multiple workstreams while ensuring all project details are meticulously tracked and reported to senior leadership. Program Leadership: Oversee the entire lifecycle of business transformation programs, ensuring alignment with telecom business goals and objectives. Detailed Project Tracking: Maintain granular oversight of project plans, timelines, and deliverables. Develop and maintain detailed tracking systems (e.g., Gantt charts, dashboards) to ensure every aspect of the project is on schedule. Capture progress at a granular level, track dependencies, and ensure timely resolution of issues or bottlenecks. Raise alarms and ability to debate on approach and solution to problems. Stakeholder Management: Engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders across different business units. Lead and facilitate logical discussions with stakeholders to resolve challenges, secure approvals, and ensure alignment across all parties. Drive daily huddles and should have ability to ask tough questions from keep stakeholders on commitment and task completion. Reporting & Executive Communication: Provide comprehensive project updates and reports at varying levels of detail, from granular task updates to high-level executive summaries. Tailor progress reports to suit different stakeholder needs, including detailed operational reports and high-level presentations for CXO-level audiences. Highlight risks, issues, and corrective actions clearly. Ability to distil complex project information into clear, concise reports for senior executives, including detailed tracking of progress, risks, and Change requests/enhancements. Risk Management: Identify risks early and ensuring mitigation strategies are in place. Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 8+ years of experience managing large-scale business transformation projects, with a strong emphasis on telecom sector programs. Expertise in using tools like MS Project, JIRA, or other advanced tracking and reporting systems. Strong grasp of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools to track multiple workstreams/Scrums/Sprints in parallel. Experience with creating clear visualizations of progress (dashboards, status reports) for executive-level presentations. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Business, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable. Role & Responsibilities: • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. • Ensure resource availability and allocation. • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, report and escalate to management as needed • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders, • Perform risk management to minimize project risks, Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members Requirements/Must or Good to have • Must have experience of managing IT projects • Experience in BSS operations or managing BSS Telco projects. • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Power Point • Proven working experience in project management is good to have • PMP Certified Good knowledge of Jira, MPP and other MS Office tools
