The ideal candidate should possess a strong grasp of historical concepts and be able to inspire students at the [Primary/Secondary/IGCSE/A-Level] level. This role involves delivering engaging and informative lessons, fostering a deep appreciation for history, and guiding students to achieve academic excellence while connecting past events to contemporary issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver well-structured History lessons based on the [Primary/Secondary/IGCSE/A-Level] syllabus.
  • Create customized lesson plans that accommodate the unique learning styles and academic goals of students.
  • Encourage critical thinking and analytical skills through discussions, debates, and historical case studies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and tailored support.
  • Prepare students for exams and coursework by implementing effective study strategies and practice assessments.
  • Cultivate an engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, inquiry, and a deeper understanding of historical events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching History, with a preference for candidates familiar with [IGCSE, IB, A-Level, or National] syllabus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present historical events in a captivating manner.
  • Ability to integrate technology and digital resources into teaching (if applicable).
  • A teaching certification or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
