Geoscientist (Opportunity Generation)

What you will do Individuals will provide Geoscience support to global asset teams in the following areas: o Integrated Geoscience interpretation for resource description and reservoir characterization; includes subsurface mapping, well log analysis, qualitative and quantitative seismic interpretation, sequence stratigraphy, and structural analysis o Integration of production and reservoir engineering data to support depletion planning and reservoir management strategies o Opportunity generation including planning, evaluation and/or execution of field development / drill well programs / wellwork opportunities. About you Skills and Qualifications Candidates should be self-motivated and focused on achieving business results. Demonstrated teamwork and effective communication within a multi-disciplinary team are essential. Technical skill requirements are as follows: o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Geophysics or Earth Sciences o A minimum of 5 years of industrial experience in upstream oil and gas o Expertise in integrated seismic interpretation including quantitative interpretation, opportunity generation and prospect evaluation o Previous experience in mature production assets will be an advantage.
