Key Responsibilities: Manage import operations and purchasing activities for dates, honey, olive oil, and other regional products, ensuring seamless procurement and delivery. Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers to secure high-quality products at competitive prices. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers and service providers to optimize costs and ensure favorable agreements for the company. Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments specific to the Middle Eastern market. And international market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to make informed purchasing decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as logistics, finance, and warehouse management to ensure smooth product flow and timely deliveries. Ensure compliance with all regional and international import regulations, customs requirements, and trade agreements. Manage and control inventory levels, ensuring proper forecasting and timely replenishment of stock. Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs brokers to manage the logistics of imported goods. Prepare and manage budgets for procurement activities and monitor expenditure to ensure cost efficiency. Analyze supply chain processes to identify opportunities for improvements and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Lead and train the procurement and logistics team, ensuring that best practices in supply chain management are applied consistently. Qualifications: PHD Or Master degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in import operations, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a focus on regional markets.
