Job Summary:
The Kitchen Assistant will work closely with the Chef de Partie and the kitchen team to support basic food preparation and maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen. This role involves assisting with cooking, plating, and handling kitchen-related tasks while adhering to food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation and Support:
  • Assist the Chef de Partie and kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, cooking, and plating food, ensuring that dishes are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Kitchen Cleanliness:
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing utensils, cleaning surfaces, and ensuring all kitchen equipment is properly sanitized and stored.
  • Food Deliveries and Storage:
  • Support in receiving and checking food deliveries, ensuring all items are stored correctly according to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper labeling and rotation of stock.
  • Compliance with Safety Standards:
  • Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations to ensure a safe and compliant kitchen environment at all times.
  • Additional Duties:
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or senior kitchen staff to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
