Work Arrangement: 5 days work week

Work Arrangement Remarks: Might need to standby on weekends or during campaigns/ new projects/ downtimes. Monday - Friday (9am to 6pm)

Job Description

Summary

A successful E-commerce Shopify Web Developer should possess strong coding skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of E-commerce best practices. They should be able to adapt to evolving technologies and contribute to the overall success of the online store with 3-5 years experience.

Website Development:

•Designing and developing the Shopify website according to the given specifications and requirements.

•Implementing and customizing Shopify themes to achieve a visually appealing and user-friendly interface.

•Coding and Programming:

•Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid.

•Ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for seamless user experience.

•E-commerce Functionality:

•Integrating and configuring Shopify plugins or apps to enhance the website's functionality.

•Implementing and maintaining features such as product pages, shopping cart, checkout process, and payment gateways.

•Responsive Design:

•Ensuring the website is responsive and optimized for various devices to provide a consistent experience across platforms.

•Customization and Theming:

•Customizing Shopify themes or creating custom themes based on the business requirements and design specifications.

•Performance Optimization:

•Monitoring and optimizing website performance, including page load times and overall speed.

•Security and Compliance:

•Implementing security best practices to safeguard customer data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

•Collaboration:

•Collaborating with the design and marketing teams to implement visual and interactive elements on the website.

•Working closely with other stakeholders to understand and address their needs and requirements.

•Testing and Debugging:

•Conducting thorough testing of the website, identifying and fixing bugs or issues promptly.
