Responsibilities

Undertake design project from concept to completion based on clients needs
Define project requirements and schedule
Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
Set costs and project fees according to budget
Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
Supervise work progress
Work closely with sales team, project team and constructors
Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices
Utilize computer applications in the design process. Create design concepts and digital presentations with finish selections, furnishings, and fixtures.
Inspect design after completion to determine whether client goals have been met.
Takes accurate as-built measurements for developing floor plans and elevations.

Requirements

Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and self- starter
Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
