Overviews of Job (key duties & responsibilities)

Assist the property supervisor / property /operations executives to carry out scheduled inspection, general repairs and general supervision of service contractors with the main objective of meeting customers’ expectations.

Duties of Technician (Site Office)

1. To provide good customer service to meet customers’ expectations with regards to complaints.

1.1 To effectively carry out repair works as per work order generated or upon superior’s instructions.

1.2 To ensure that all works carried out are properly documented and reported to superior upon completion.

1.3 Ensure that all complaints are attended to within the same day.

1.4 Ensure all work orders issued are completed without delays.

1.5 Ensure the customer’s acknowledgement is obtained upon full completion of complaint.

2. Supervision of service contractors to ensure that all services provided are in accordance with the agreed service level.

2.1 Carry out regular inspections with the appointed maintenance contractors to inspect the works carried out.

2.2 Follow up with contractors to ensure that all complaints are attended within the requirements of the Client’s Charter.

3. To provide technical services.

3.1 To carry out daily inspection of all the M & E installations and prepare a daily report stating the operation condition.

3.2 To trouble shoot and rectify all electrical and mechanical faults immediately.

3.3 To assist the handyman / technicians to carry out works such as mason works, carpentry works, painting, general repairs.

3.4 To assist in the preparation and updating of the inventory list of all common property, equipment, plant and machinery, spare parts etc.

3.5 To assist the chargeman and/or supervising engineer in the discharge of his duties and responsibilities.

4. Assist the management on the implementation of the House Rules to ensure compliance by all residents and visitors.

4.1 Understand and implement all House Rules, policies and standing order issued.

4.2 To carry out spot checks on all maintenance contractors and renovation contractors and report to the executives if there are doubts that the works carried out are not in accordance with the regulations.

Requirements:

· Certificate of competency from IKBN, ILO or equivalent.

  • Minimum 3 years working experience in similar capacity in property/facilities management industry.
  • Committed and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Computer literate – MS Office
  • Pro-active, independent and right attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
