This role will be a regional role, based in Johor Bahru (HQ), assisting the current FP&A team in providing a robust and insightful decision support to group CFO and management team to enable delivery of financial objectives at both operational and strategic level. This role involves in forecasting, planning and analysis that drive a commercially focused business and promote an optimised and focused performance culture.

Job Description :

  • Assist current FP&A focal in preparing group annual operating plan from individual team budget to constructing and consolidating individual entities’ P&L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet up to group level.
  • Assist in preparation of presentations, reports and associated analysis per senior management requests (i.e. Group CFO and Group CEO), which include monthly actuals monitoring, variances analysis and quarterly board pack preparation for the group.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities to the planning and reporting processes.
  • Assist in setting and monitor KPI for each division by understanding and identifying gaps in business processes and providing commercial insights through rigorous analysis of P&L, key business drivers, risks factors and trends with the aim to support business growth.
  • Close coordination and collaboration with each team and key focal from each entity in strengthening costs control of the group.
  • Assist in communication and alignment regarding financial submissions requirements.
  • Assist in supporting ad-hoc reporting requirements and financial analysis for management.
  • Provide relevant finance training to non-finance personnel when necessary.

Requirement and qualification :

  • Bachelor’s degree at an accredited College or University (degree in Finance or Accounting preferred).
  • 5 – 6 years post-qualification experience, with minimum 2 – 3 years in similar role in commercial organizations.
  • Skill in analysing and solving issues.
  • Experience of working with senior management in matrix environment.
  • Independent, detailed oriented, resilient and able to deliver quality work under pressure and in tight timeline.
  • Good business partnering and continuous improvement mindset.

    Desirable
  • FMCG or other regulated industry experience highly desirable.
  • Skill in financial modelling highly desirable.
