Job Description:

  • Handle day-to-day operations and oversee documentation and operational workflow.
  • Coordinate import and export shipping matters according to customers’ requirements.
  • Collaborate with overseas agents, carriers, co-loaders, and vendors to ensure timely receipt and delivery of shipments.
  • Manage shipping documentation formalities (Port Authority, Customs, Tradenet, Portnet).
  • Arrange bookings with carriers/co-loaders and execute all pertinent shipping documentation (e.g., Custom Permits, Shipping Order, Delivery Instructions).
  • Ensure proper and timely billing and closure of jobs.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or Degree level qualification preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of senior-level experience in freight forwarding operations.
    • Applications from individuals with a minimum of 2 years of junior-level experience in related fields are also welcome.
  • Skills & Expertise:
    • Demonstrated expertise in cargo clearance procedures, specifically within the Singapore market.
    • Proficiency in both Mandarin and English is required to effectively communicate with clients and partners.
    • Ability to start at short notice is advantageous.
