Production Manager / Deputy Production Manager

Key responsibilities:

1. Establish and continuously optimize the department’s structure and position settings according to the company’s organizational structure. Conduct job analysis and evaluation, determine job allocation based on development needs, and arrange personnel according to staffing conditions.

2. Prepare annual production forecasts, review weekly and daily production plans and arrangements, continuously improve the production planning and scheduling system, and supervise and assess the completion of production plans.

3. Work closely with QA and business teams to ensure product quality consistently meets customer requirements and enhance the company’s market competitiveness.

4. Produce according to process specifications, control unit consumption within standard costs, and improve yield.

5. Organize and arrange production scientifically to ensure timely and continuous delivery of stable quantity and quality products to customers.

6. Manage on-site operations, promote 5S initiatives, guide and inspect the routine checks of workshop machinery and equipment to ensure maximum efficiency.

7. Participate in and support the verification of technical standards, process flows, and new product development, and organize trial production in a timely manner.

8. Coordinate and communicate between departments, track major anomalies, and efficiently resolve various issues that arise during the production process.

9. Monitor factors affecting delivery (such as raw material supply, equipment failures, capacity, personnel, etc.), coordinate solutions to these issues, and promptly report significant delivery-impacting anomalies to the sales department. Assist in adjusting delivery schedules.

10. Establish and advance lean production and 5S management projects.

Job Qualifications :

1. Degree and above in Chemical Engineering. with more than 5 years of experience in Chemical industry / manufacturing in a managerial level

2. Have communication skills, work experience, professional skills, and planning abilities.

3. Fluent in Chinese, English and Malay
