  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Descriptions of Senior Researcher / Analytical Chemist:

  • Prepare insecticide formulation and perform qualitative and quantitative analysis prior to its use in chemical and biological evaluation.
  • Generate new idea for new product development alongside Biology & Chemistry team.
  • Study chemical behavior (for example: residue / degradation profile, aerial concentration study, etc.) of a new and existing insecticide product in order to support and understand biological performance of the product.
  • Responsible to assess suitability of product formulation based on findings from physical chemical properties, biological evaluation & chemical behavior study.
  • Responsible to develop / establish analytical method & method validation alongside deputy / research manager.
  • Conduct physical chemical studies for customer and company’s own branded product registration under ISO 17025 & GLP compliance.
  • Execute roles & responsibilities given to maintain ISO 17025 (as a report signatory) & GLP (as a study director / study personnel) accreditation.
  • Prepare test protocol & write technical report (with interpretation & opinion, if necessary)
  • Maintain chemical inventory and laboratory in a good working condition.
  • Report laboratory activity (including routine & R&D work) to deputy / research manager from time to time.
  • Educate other researchers for job improvement (particularly in analytical method development & validation).

Requirements:

  • A registered IKM member with a degree (or higher) in chemistry / analytical chemistry / relevant chemistry field
  • Experience and advance user of gas and liquid chromatography (GC & HPLC), preferably that involves use of multiple detector & tandem mass spectrometry (MSMS)
  • Proven record and experience in analytical, method validation, residue and sensitive (trace level) analysis
  • High interest in R&D work and new insecticide product development
  • Well versed in ISO 17025 and GLP principles. Exposure and experience as study director (for GLP compliance study) is an added advantage
  • A team player with good analytical thinking and strong command of English (oral & written)
