Job Responsibilities:

(a) Financial Oversight & Governance

(i) Collaborate with Top Management for financial oversight and governance aligned with company goals.

(ii) Enforce financial policies, procedures, and controls including ISO with Finance team.

(iii) Provide regular updates and reports to Top Management.

(b) Financial Reporting & Analysis

(i) Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports.

(ii) Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights for strategic decision making.

(iii) Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

(c) Cash Flow Management & Forecasting

(i) Monitor and manage cash flow, optimize working capital.

(ii) Refine cash flow forecasts for short-term and long-term planning.

(iii) Recommend financing structure and options.

(d) Budgeting & Financial Planning

(i) Analyse budget variances, identify improvement opportunities.

(ii) Support investment proposal development and evaluations, including but not limited to expansion in new markets.

(e) Stakeholder Management

(i) Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (senior management, bankers, auditors and regulators).

(ii) Support investor relations activities, presentations, and inquiries.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or MIA certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance operations, with at least 3 years in the trading or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, analysis, cash flow management, and budgeting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, compliance regulations, and internal controls (including ISO compliance).
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cash flow, forecast, and recommend financing structures.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial planning, and investment proposal evaluations.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management, including liaising with bankers, auditors, investors, and regulators.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
