Role Overview:
The incumbent should possess an operational, hands-on, and tactical approach in running the HR Department. Has the ability to think strategically and recommend effective HR initiatives that complement the company’s business plan. Strong work ethic is essential and possesses the ability to understand issues and develop creative solutions for the company.


Responsibilities & Duties:
HR Business Partnering (40%)
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiative aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Proactive in improving overall HR procedures and efficiency to keep up with current market dynamics and the company’s business demands
• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
• Drive and support the delivery of high performing cultural change plans and positive employee experience interventions
• Work closely with inter-departments to provide manpower advisory and support in line with company’s business strategies
• Identify and develop training need of employees, and manage employee training programs
• Introduce HR digitalization process by adopting innovative HR technologies/solutions to enhance employees’ overall HR experience and increase HR department productivity
• Lead employee engagement programs such as quarterly teambuilding, annual retreats, CSR initiatives, and any other projects assigned
• Provide periodic HR analytical reports and metrics
HR Operations (20%)
• Manage the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
• Provide guidance and advice on employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other HR issues
• Maintain accuracy and timely updates in the HRMS system
• Evaluate and implement tools or processes to ensure governance and data integrity
• Improve the assessment, delivery, and support execution of processes which support current and future business needs
• Responsible for the monthly payroll processing of the company and timely submission of statutory requirements (CPF, IR8A, IR21, NS Claims, Maternity Leave Claims, etc.)
• Administer all Work Pass matters
• Stay abreast of local labor regulations and industry trends to provide factual advice to management
Talent Acquisition (30%)
• Responsible for the full recruitment process of the company
• Maintain job boards and maximizing all available recruitment platforms to build up the potential talent pipeline for the company.
• Develop strategies to enhance Employer branding and protecting interest of the company
• Proactively seek and gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment, and sourcing methodologies.

• Lead, plan and be a brand ambassador for talent acquisition activities, such as career day, campus branding and recruitment, career fairs and talks etc.
• To participate in graduate recruitment initiatives, talent programs, being the touch point to build relationship with campuses like ITEs and Universities
• Build employer brand with necessary outreach to promote social awareness and generate positive recruitment result.
• Continuous improvement on recruitment policy, process, and system for sustainable results within budget and in compliance.
Compensation & Benefits (10%)
• Benchmarking against industry & market trend and propose & develop effective Compensation & Benefits policies such as KPIs, annual appraisals, succession planning, budgeting & its metrics for evaluation and tracking purposes
• Manage and implement the performance management process and annual remuneration review exercises
• Constant reviewing effectiveness of sales incentive and commission plans as well as year-end bonus plans for the group
• Participate in MOM salary surveys
• Oversee and monitor performance of vendors and third-party administrators such as insurance brokers


Job Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or HRM is preferred.
• At least 8 years of similar capacity in retail/FMCG/F&B environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Result-oriented and committed to continuous improvement and work excellence
• An analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills and possess “think-out-of-box” attitude
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities with an eye for details
• Able to meet tight deadlines and is highly adaptable
• Proactive, self-starter, good critical thinking capabilities and strong business acumen
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
