Job Description

The ideal candidate will be part of our life science equipment sales division involving in direct sales, identifying, and developing new prospects to increase the company’s market share. He/ She must have an outgoing personality, result oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Selling and promoting Life Science instruments across the assigned territories
  • Achieve the company predefine sales goal.
  • Ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
  • Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts.
  • Manage existing accounts and develop new accounts in the territory.
  • Implement and execute Sales & Marketing strategies to achieve sales objectives.
  • Develop strong working relationship with Marketing, Technical Support, Customer Support and Production
  • Conduct demonstration of life science equipment.
  • Coordinate with Service Engineer to commission and conduct preventive maintenance service to customers.

Requirements:

  • Degree/ Master in biotechnology or equivalent field.
  • Experience in Centrifugation, Liquid Handling, Gel Documentation, & NGS Platform market is prioritised.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales position is required.
  • Competent interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships and network.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product/ service to potential customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Program especially Excel and Power Point.
  • Capable of conducting and leading online-based meeting with customer.
  • Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed the sales closing.
  • Able to re-locate and travel throughout local (KL & Selangor) and outstation region.
  • Must possess own transportation.
