Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of the Group’s short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
- Monitor developments within the group and its operating companies. Assess the impact of such developments on the financial condition of the business and advise the Management/Board on the course of action to ensure long term business sustainability and shareholder value.
- Manage financial results (e.g. turnover and profits) and financial position (net cash position) within the desires targets and parameters.
- Ensure computation of working capital and funding requirement is done and closely monitor cash positions and advise Management/Board timely on expenditures and profit recognition.
- Fund sourcing to meet funding requirement. Liaison with Bankers and solicitors on financing requirement. Ensure proper evaluation of various offers before decision making.
- Overall responsible for ensuring proper accountability of assets and cash within the group.
- Plan and implement financial risk management programs to ensure that the company mitigates exposures to adverse financial risks.
- Ensure that a high standard of risk management and control is in effect within the business group.
- Ensure continuous improvement in the Group Financial Operational performance.
- Project assigned by Superior / Board of Directors.
Requirements:
- Possess at least Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, MIA). MBA or Master’s in Finance is an added advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an accounting, business or finance environment with several years of management experience.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to drive financial performance.
