SOLAR SALES ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
- Identify prospective customers and new market opportunities to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
- Develop creative sales and marketing strategies to capitalize on the solar market in Malaysia.
- Grow and develop existing sales channels to increase revenue.
- Conduct site surveys to assess the feasibility of solar PV projects, supporting the engineering team in design development.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure accurate solar PV system designs.
- Educate potential customers on NEM (Net Energy Metering) and solar systems to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
SOLAR PV TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with clients to plan and schedule O&M (Operation & Maintenance) services, ensuring smooth communication and on-site task supervision.
- Analyze performance data from solar PV system monitoring platforms, using appropriate metrics to evaluate efficiency.
- Provide basic troubleshooting for solar systems to maintain optimal performance.
- Maintain detailed records and reports on system performance, ensuring data accuracy.
- Strategically plan and resolve backlog issues, particularly related to kWh meters.
- Identify system performance gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Generate reports, visualizations, and dashboards on solar PV performance for internal teams and customers.
- Provide timely technical support, either remotely or on-site, to address any arising issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management to meet operational needs.
Job Requirements:
- Open to candidates from any related field, with qualifications in Engineering being a valuable advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
- Prior experience in sales is mandatory.
- Comfortable with technical concepts and able to quickly grasp product knowledge.
- Demonstrates a customer-centric approach, with strong teamwork skills.
- Experience in the solar industry is an added advantage.
- Candidates must possess their own transport.
