Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic SAP Manager to lead our SAP team and manage the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems across the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP system management, with a strong background in both technical and functional aspects of SAP. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of business processes, particularly in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP Strategy & Management: Develop and implement the SAP strategy in alignment with business objectives. Oversee all aspects of SAP system management, including planning, execution, and support.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SAP professionals, including ABAP developers, functional consultants, and support staff. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Project Management: Manage SAP-related projects from inception to completion, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and translate them into SAP solutions. Optimize business processes through effective use of SAP modules.
  • System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of SAP systems with other enterprise systems. Oversee the design and implementation of interfaces and data exchange mechanisms.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with SAP vendors and consultants. Negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and ensure the quality of third-party services.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure that SAP systems comply with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. Implement and manage security protocols to protect sensitive data.
  • Training & Development: Oversee the training of end-users and SAP team members. Ensure that the team is up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and methodologies.
  • Budget Management: Manage the SAP budget, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on expenditures. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest developments in SAP technologies and best practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and user satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: At least Bachelor’s degree & above in Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent qualifications with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or second class upper.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP management, including experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and related modules.
    • Lead and manage the transition of SAP systems from on-premise solutions to the RISE with SAP cloud platform, ensuring a smooth migration and leveraging new capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and support business goals.
    • Proven experience in leading SAP teams and managing complex SAP projects.
    • Strong understanding of SAP systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Deep knowledge of SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, and HCM.
    • Experience with SAP implementation methodologies and project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
    • Familiarity with SAP development tools, including ABAP, Fiori, and SAP Solution Manager.
    • Strong understanding of SAP integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, PLM, MES).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Project Management: Proven project management skills, with experience managing large-scale SAP projects.
  • Budget Management: Experience managing budgets and financial planning for SAP operations.
  • Advantages if possess:
    • SAP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate, SAP Certified Application Associate) or PMP certification.
    • Experience in leading organizational change related to SAP implementations and upgrades.
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment, understanding the specific challenges and needs of the industry.
