Job Summary

Formulating fair and just labour policies, administering labour laws and standards, ensuring
organizational harmony and employee welfare, monitoring and enforcing related acts, providing labour advisory and awareness initiatives, planning and carrying out industrial relations service activities, promoting and monitoring compliance to Code of Ethics, circulars, regulations, and any other relevant legislations.

The incumbent also plays a crucial role in maintaining a healthy and productive workforce, and in ensuring that employers and employees work together in a safe and secure environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Overseeing, managing, monitoring, and reporting on the implementation of the Assist
    Individual Development Program (AID) for employees who are registered under the program due to performance and/or disciplinary issues. Ensuring the successful completion of both the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) and Disciplinary Improvement Plan (DIP) from start to end.
  • To evaluate and suggest enhancements to the AID program, as well as recommend a potential action plan to rectify any shortcomings in the execution of AID, that may lead to employees failing to meet their job objectives or exhibit behavior-related issues.
  • To prepare proposals relevant to the improvement of the department's business process and other corresponding actions that need to be taken, and ensure the appropriateness and relevancy of the process and systems.
  • To monitor employees' compliance level to the Code of Ethics, regulations, circulars, and relevant provisions in any laws.
  • To develop e-learning module for MCMC Code of Ethics, provide awareness, and brief employees on its application.
  • To conduct, internal investigation processes from start to end and ensuring adherence to all policies and laws while conducting the exercise.
  • To implement consultation tasks and action plans to comply with Audit Findings, Legal requirements, etc.
  • To review existing policies related to employees and propose updates to the documents, as and when required.
  • To facilitate negotiations between the management and employees, handle grievances, protect the interest of the Commission, and propose win-win solutions.
  • To identify appropriate awareness / training courses to improve employee's compliance with disciplinary matters.
  • To assist in the development, implementation, management and administration of policies and programs related to employment, in accordance with company policy and governmental regulations.

Qualification & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law or related disciplines with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 from a reputable University/College
  • At least 5 to 10 years of working experience in similar environment.
  • A flexible multi-tasker who thrives in a fast- paced environment with changing priorities

Candidate must be willing to work in Cyberjaya.
