Job Description:
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets or merger partners that align with the company's growth strategy, evaluating industry trends, competitive landscape, and financial performance.
- End-to-End M&A Execution: Plan, lead, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the end-to-end transactional M&A process, including conducting valuations, performing due diligence, developing deal structures, and finalizing legal documentation.
- Negotiation and Deal Structuring: Develop and implement effective negotiation strategies to secure favorable terms, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and risk management protocols.
- Post-Acquisition Integration: Coordinate and drive the development of integration plans post-acquisition, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition and realization of synergies.
- Stakeholder Management and Communication: Build and maintain relationships with external advisors, consultants, and stakeholders involved in M&A transactions, fostering collaboration to support successful outcomes and timely reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related field.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience in transactional mergers & acquisitions, strategic planning, economic evaluation, finance, business development, or similar exposure.
- Proven end-to-end involvement in the M&A process.
- Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience in drafting or negotiating commercial agreements is an added advantage.
