Operator & Customer Service Executive

Responsibilities:

Export
• Guide shipper for the requirement from customer to ensure shipper properly
follow customer expectation
• Communicate with a shipper for booking and request to customer for shipping
approval timely before shipment is proceed
• Place booking space to carrier or co-loader as per guidelines of the department
direction to protect space and equipment
• Release the container to the appropriate shipper as approved by the customer
• Prepare and confirm MBL to meet carrier’s SI cut-off time
• Issue bill of loading to the local shipper for applying CO after shipment COB
• Issue an accurate original house bill of lading/FCR to shipper
• Ensure c losing shipment settlement within 5 calendar days of COB
• Follow up with the Service Provider of container pick up, stuffing container
and loaded container departure from the Warehouse for CFS/CY shipment to
meet the CY cut-off at port
• Release MBL, Surrender or Telex Release to the Shipper after receiving payment or notes from the shipper.

Import
Shipment Release D/O or Agency Service
• Received Pre-Alert from Agent at Oversea Such as MBL and HBL
• Send HBL to a real consignee to confirm HBL and submit to carrier for Manifest to customs
• Checking Arrival date with carrier and sending Arrival Letter to the consignee
• Check Surrender or Telex Release before the shipment arrives POD, avoid late pick-up container
• Arrange Payment THC and Local charge / Ocean Freight charge to the carrier for collecting DO
• Issue INV and Debit to Customer
• Booking E-DO to port for release containers to the customer after receiving payment or shipment surrender

Shipment Clearance and Trucking
• Received Pre-Alert Documents from agents or Shippers such as INV, PL & BL and check information matching together
• Send Documents to customers for confirmation
• Send all shipping Documents to suppliers to apply Permits or Evaluation to the Customs House
• Received carrier INV THC & Arrival Notice and pass to broker for arranging payment, collecting DO ( some shipments settle by myself based on quotation agreement)
• Follow approval Document, Clearance Time and inform customer for unloading
• Follow up trucking until containers arrive for customer safety
• Issue INV or Debit Notes to customers as quotation confirmation
• Update SOA, send to customer
• Must have experience in TP trade

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the international logistics industry
• Strong ability in logistics systems, booking online, controlling payment & closing Job file before cut-off time
• Knowledge of Malaysia import/ export procedure
• Strong ability to persuade, motivate and influence others
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage time effectively
• Fluent in English
• Mandarin speaking skills to communicate with internal colleagues and external customers.
