  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Who are we looking for?

  • SPM/STPM/Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Business Management or related field.
  • Preferable with 2 year(s) of related working experience in Purchasing for manufacturing, preferable with Metal Stamping and Fabrication working environment.
  • Must have the ability to control stock inventory, negotiation in buying, determine vendor performance, material & warehousing management handling.
  • Must be able to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge in ISO 9001 & 14001 quality management system.
  • Good knowledge of computer and able to use MRP, ERP, SAP or equivalent system and good in Ms Office.
  • Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills, team work and problem-solving skills.
  • Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage
  • Understanding of Sales Tax Exemption (CJ5)

What are the objectives of your role?

  • Responsible to source, negotiate of best quotation, payment term and freight term with local & overseas supplier.
  • Look for competitive prices from other suppliers.
  • Evaluate suppliers' quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
  • Yearly Cost Down Program
  • Monitoring On Time Delivery KPI
  • Preparing of Purchase Order based on plan requirement and forecast trend
  • Maintaining purchase record and vendor management
  • Follow-up on in-coming part and quantity from supplier to full fill Production and meet customer on-time delivery.
  • Work closely with warehouse to ensure material received in good condition and identify if any quantity discrepancies
  • Work closely with Quality team to follow up on supplier quality issue
  • Maintain Sales Tax Exemption reporting related to purchasing and sub-con
