Project Manager

• Provide management, leadership, and strategic vision in Project Management Unit for the organization’s local and regional projects.
• Coordinate with Senior Management to create processes and systems to ensure effective project management and implementation across the organization’s regional projects.
• Direct the activities of the Project Management Unit and determine how team resources should be allocated across projects.
• Provide strong and effective support to country, regional, and program management teams.
• Establish tools and/or systems to track project reports and deliverables while working with Project Managers to ensure the completion of projects.
• Create training and capacity building process and training modules to promote project management best practices.
• Communicate with Senior Management on successes, issues and lessons learned from implementation and share these across the organization.
• Build a community of practice for good project management across the organization involving Project Managers and operations and finance staff.
• Travel to project sites in the field as necessary to assist in project management.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with customers and partners.
• Create a work atmosphere conducive to professional growth and development of excellent personnel at all levels.
• Promote accountability by conducting staff annual performance reviews with direct supervises.
• Directly undertake project management when necessary and to perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the organization’s management.

Oversee the work of each member of the Project Management Unit and provide guidance and directives to ensure that the following are effectively carried out:

• Project scope and objectives are clearly determined and defined.
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
• Preparation of budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
• Track project costs in order to meet budget.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedule and work plan.
• Project updates are provided on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 10 years’ experience in project management or delivery, and people management exposure.
• Experience working with teams located in different geographical regions and across different cultures.
• Knowledge in securities and trading or financial preferred.
