  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  5. Click JavaScript.

We are inviting dynamic, innovative and dedicated graduates to join us as Management Trainee in our Pasir Gudang factory. Lam Soon Management Trainee Program is a 18 months program specially designed to groom promising graduates to be leader in the manufacturing industry. Successful candidate will be exposed to the QA/QC and R&D activities. It would be preferable that candidates are equipped with an education background of Food Science, Food Technology or equivalent. Also, candidates with excellent verbal and written English communication, as well as strong analytical and leadership skills are encouraged to apply.

The best-fit or suitable candidates have the opportunity to be absorbed to permanent employment.

  • During these one year program, candidates will be expose to the company’s functional activities.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with a highly committed team.
  • Expose to on-the-job trainings in QA/QC and R&D.
  • Assign to work on special projects.
  • Gain subject specific knowledge or technical-related competencies by understanding the mechanics of different functions in the manufacturing industry.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferably FRESH university graduate with a Bachelor's or Master Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or equivalent
  • Preferably 1st Class Honors (Min. 2nd Upper Honors).
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.
  • Good knowledge in MS Office applications.
  • Experience with research project or laboratory work during academic studies will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques and data analysis.
  • Able to think critically, act innovatively, find solutions to problems and communicate ideas effectively.
  • Information, Media and Technology (IMT) Skills – understanding facts, figures, statistics, and data, understanding the methods and outlets in which information is published, understanding the machines that make the information age possible.
  • Life Skills or FLIPS – Flexibility, Leadership, Initiative, Productivity and Social skills.
