Video Producer Job Scope
a. Client and Product Management for Video:
- Coordinate with clients to thoroughly understand their video requirements and objectives, including gathering details on messaging, style, and target audience.
- Schedule video shoots by arranging necessary resources such as locations, equipment, talent, and crew.
- Provide creative direction to ensure the video aligns with the client's vision, making adjustments as needed throughout the production process.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, incorporating feedback at every stage to ensure the final product meets expectations.
- Ensure timely and professional delivery of completed videos, addressing any final revisions requested by the client.
b. Video Production Schedule and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive video production schedules that outline each phase, from concept development to post-production.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to brainstorm and develop engaging video concepts that meet client objectives.
- Oversee the shooting process, ensuring the schedule is followed, and high-quality content is captured.
- Manage the post-production workflow, including editing, sound design, and visual effects, to ensure high standards.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure videos are published across platforms on schedule for maximum audience engagement.
- Continuously review and refine processes to improve the efficiency and quality of video production.
c. Video Editing and Post-Production:
- Assemble and organize raw footage, transferring or uploading it to editing software for further processing.
- Follow scripts, screenplays, or outlines to ensure edits align with the narrative and production goals.
- Enhance footage by inputting audio elements, including selecting background music, integrating sound effects, and writing or editing voice-overs.
- Add graphics, visual effects, and other elements to improve the video's aesthetic and storytelling impact.
- Digitally splice and synchronize scenes into cohesive rough cuts, ensuring smooth transitions and pacing.
- Adjust and correct issues related to lighting, color grading, and technical flaws in the footage.
- Implement revisions based on feedback, ensuring requested changes are made efficiently and effectively.
