Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete range of financial reporting and accounting functions for Malaysia subsidiaries.
- Ensure timely completion of statutory and management reports, budgets, forecasts, tax compliance, and legal requirements.
- Review and analyze monthly management reports.
- Manage cash flow and treasury operations to ensure adequate funding and minimize idle funds.
- Implement, review, and enhance internal controls and processes.
- Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and adherence to SFRS/IFRS standards.
- Ensure timely compliance with all statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements for the group.
- Liaise with banks, auditors (internal and external), legal teams, tax consultants, and corporate secretarial agents.
- Ensure all financial reporting obligations are fulfilled, including those related to government grant claims.
- Handle any additional finance-related tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy, or a professional qualification such as ACCA, MIA, or CPA.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented with strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Analytical, meticulous, and an effective communicator.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in working with large organizations or listed companies is preferred.
