Job Responsibilities:

The Incumbent is responsible for most or all of the following areas:

a) Design and Fit-Out

  • Coordinate and manage all tenant fit-out and reinstatement works between internal and external parties.
  • Provides design directions and store planning advice to tenants and their appointed designers.
  • Monitor and review submission of tenant design for full compliance with Sunsuria standard on design guideline, local legislation requirement and risk requirement, while adhering to fit-out schedule.
  • Close liaison with leasing and Facilities Management on new tenant as well as tenant’s change request.
  • Perform fit-out coordination works with tenant’s fit-out team i.e. site checking and status monitoring.
  • To conduct regular site visits to monitor and verify that all works are done accordance with approved submission and compliance with mall regulations.
  • To fix and perform inspection with tenant upon completion of each project prior to business commencements.
  • To execute assigned Interior designing projects.
  • Regularly update on mall master plan, tenancy plans and landlord provision schedule, ensure the info is accurate & up to date.
  • To review and manage continuous improvement / updates to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) i.e. Fit-Out Manual, relevant forms / checklist.
  • Incumbent is to be fully accountable on all aspects of tenants’ fit-out works (from receiving of update from leasing, design submission until renovation work at site) while adhering to accomplishing within the stipulated timeline.
  • Responsible for fit-out gap finding and remedy closure during pre-opening inspection.
  • Sourcing of quotations, preparation of purchase order and invoice submission to Finance for ad-hoc works which are related to landlord provision.
  • To keep up-to-date filing of fit-out related matters.
  • Handling of contractor work permit approval, documentation, and filing.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in fit-out construction, incorporating new methodologies and technologies into project execution.

b) Project

  • The liaison representative in retail project design and planning meetings.
  • The Company representative in retail project technical discussions related to mall development and construction stage.
  • The Company representative in coordinating all assigned projects/tasks from project conception phase through to joint-inspection and handover.
  • Partake in specified assignments, such as development of processes in retail assets category design brief.

Job Requirements:

  • Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or Property Development/Real Estate Management or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Retail Design and Fit Out Management.
  • Software programmes required: AutoCAD LT & Adobe Photoshop
  • Possess strong people management skills, problem-solving skills and be results-driven.
  • Excellent stakeholders’ management abilities and conflict resolution skills.
  • Able to lead a team to meet both strategic and operational targets.
  • Able to read the market trends and changing consumer preferences.
