We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our team and BE ABLE TO WORK IN SINGAPORE. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial and contractual aspects of our construction projects are well managed, from initial cost estimation to project completion. Your work will help optimize project budgets, minimize costs, and increase overall efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with regulation.

Job description

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for projects.
  • Manage the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and tender evaluations.
  • Monitor costs during construction, ensuring projects stay within budget.
  • Prepare, track, and manage contracts, change orders, and financial reports.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to review plans and ensure all financial implications are clear.
  • Provide clear and timely reporting to management on cost trends and potential risks.
  • Post-contract administration and management such as valuation of progress payment, review of variation request order, variation assessment.
  • Finalization of project final accounts
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Proper guidance and mentorship will be provided

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in construction.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management, project finance, and contract management.
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD, MS Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills and team collaboration.
