About the Role

As a Legal Editor - Practical Guidance, you'll manage and publish content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and editorial compliance. Maintain content quality and timeliness, collaborating with teams and overseeing the entire publishing process.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing, edit and ensure content meets LexisNexis standards and editorial guidelines
  • Ensuring all content published are maintained and updated regularly
  • Working with internal stakeholders on new content development, product and content roadmap, projects and content/product migration
  • Editing and proofreading content to maintain high quality and consistency across all digital channels.
  • Reporting of project status, flagging necessary resourcing, costs or other risks and dependencies with the ability to pre-empt risks for early mitigation
  • Working with Global Technology Operations colleagues to ensure functional operation of editorial content management system, publishing back-end systems
  • Reviewing and suggest improvements to workflow for improved efficiency/ turnaround metrics
  • Adhering to the publishing schedule; implement agreed plans for product enhancements

Requirements

  • Have a bachelor's in law or equivalent work experience
  • Have 1 to 3 years of in-house or law practice experience
  • Be highly organized, with a flexible approach to work, and the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Have track record in managing projects or rolling out initiatives
  • Be fluent in verbal and written English
  • Be detail orientated with the ability to follow defined processes
  • Experience of Microsoft Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat
  • Project management abilities and problem-solving skills
