Our client is looking for a qualified, highly capable, experienced, result driven and motivated Assistant Finance Manager / Manager to join their Finance Department and help to continue with their expansion.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will have responsibility to support the Chief Financial Officer in managing the Finance Department for Indonesia. A key responsibility is to ensure timely and accurate reporting on all aspects of finance so that the appropriate strategic business decisions can be made. The position is based in their KL Office.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of management and financial reports in compliance with approved accounting standard
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of regulatory requirements including PB1, Withholding Tax and Income Tax
  • Oversee the full spectrum of finance (Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables and General Ledger) and day-to-day operational finance matters
  • Cash flow management
  • Continual assessment and make recommendation to improve of financial processes and controls as we expand
  • Financial reporting and analysis of figures to recommend areas of improvement
  • He/she will be required to liaise with auditors, tax consultants and other financial and regulatory authorities.
  • Any other ad-hoc assignment as required by superior

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
  • 8 years relevant experience with 2 years in a managerial role leading a team
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with excellent written & spoken English.
  • Ability to work as part of team in a fast pace, continually changing environment.
  • Ability to identify areas of improvement and to develop and implement process improvements and SOPs within the Finance area.
  • Ability to ‘manage upwards’ and report directly and/or indirectly to the Managing Director and owner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application, in particular Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP ByD and experience in an F&B setup with multiple outlets is an advantage.
  • Certification (CPA or CIMA or ACCA or relevant) is a plus.
