Our client is a NYSE listed American designer, manufacturer and marketer of high-end tools and equipment for professional use in the transportation industry including the automotive, heavy duty, equipment, marine, aviation, and railroad industries.

Annual sales revenue exceeds US$4 billion and in Asia, they have sales offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, The Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

They are looking for a competent professional to be based in Selangor, Malaysia.

Product Specialist (Mid-Tier) (Selangor, Malaysia)

The Product Specialist will be based in our client’s Malaysia office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create local market intelligence for the responsible products i.e., competitors, cross reference, pricing, after sales support;
• To identify and target new business opportunities;
• Build strong customer relations by providing technical/application solutions and support to customers;
• A self-starter, flexible, number and details oriented and result driven with passion for selling;
• Team player with a mature personality and the ability to work independently;
• Preferred candidates from tool related industry, company like Milwaukee, Wurth, Dewalt, Bun Seng.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Business Management/Electronic/Electrical Engineering, or its equivalent;
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of working experience in Power Tools industry, related industry is required;
• Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin;
• Experienced in managing and dealing with channel distribution and direct customers;
• A self-starter, flexible, number and details oriented and result driven with passion for selling;
• Team player with a mature personality and the ability to work independently;
• Malaysians residing in Malaysia are welcome to apply.
