Our client is a NYSE listed American designer, manufacturer and marketer of high-end tools and equipment for professional use in the transportation industry including the automotive, heavy duty, equipment, marine, aviation, and railroad industries.

Annual sales revenue exceeds US$4 billion and in Asia, they have sales offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, The Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

They are looking for a competent professional to be based in East Malaysia.

Business Development Representative/Manager (East Malaysia)

The Business Development Representative/Manager will be based in our client’s Malaysia office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop product and sales strategy to meet local market requirements and demands;
• Develop and execute business development strategy to expand business;
• Coordinate with the regional HQ in Singapore to implement various regional strategies and operational initiatives;
• Manage trade activities in the region to achieve annual sales.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent;
• At least 5 years’ hands-on experience in industrial sales;
• Good interpersonal skills, customer focused and results oriented;
• Good command of spoken and written English;
• Direct sales automotive-servicing, aviation, mining and oil and gas sectors;
• Previous experience in saws, tools, automotive equipment and general industries preferred;
• Malaysians residing in Malaysia are welcome to apply.
