ROLE OVERVIEW

As an AP Account Executive, you will play a vital role in our finance team by managing and optimizing the payment cycle. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to the financial health of our organization. Responsibilities

  • Ensure complete payments and control expenses by scheduling payments, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
  • Manage payment transactions across all entities, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline the payment process.
  • Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, updating the SAP system accordingly.
  • Track all payments, expense invoices, and statements to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Monitor receivables closely and report potential overdue payments on a timely basis.
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
  • Prepare analyses of accounts and produce monthly reports to drive informed decision-making.
  • Respond promptly to stakeholder inquiries and engage proactively to improve payment processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, statutory, and group policies.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned by management, embracing new challenges with enthusiasm.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related qualification.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a relevant function; fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
  • FX reporting experience will be good.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Conscientious, analytical, and with a strong attention to detail.
  • Independent information collection skills and a keen research ability.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members across the company.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word.
  • Proactive, self-disciplined, and a good team player.
  • Due to business needs, language proficiency in both English and Chinese is essential
  • Willing to travel to Johor Bahru if needed
