Position: Assistant Manager, Accounting & Finance
Reports to: Division Head and Group Financial Controller
Job Summary:
The candidate is expected to manage the group’s accounting, reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual), cash management, corporate finance, ESG and tax / legal compliance needs.

Responsibilities:
- Handle full set of accounts and responsible for closing and preparation of monthly accounting reports, in accordance with MFRS and internal policies and procedures.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management and financial reports including budgets, key metrics, variance reporting and supporting schedules.
- Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial accounts (including supporting schedules) whilst ensuring that internal and external reporting deadlines are met.
- Monitor cash levels, debt levels and bank covenant ratios monthly
- Study existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to regulations of legal and tax (both direct and indirect).
- Maintaining annual corporate calendar.
- Any related ad-hoc projects within the reasonable capabilities of the candidate.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field. Preference for applicants with Professional Qualifications (CPA, ACCA, MICPA or equivalent).
- Minimum 4-5 years of work experience in a similar role. Experience in an audit firm is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Demonstrates sound knowledge and application of MFRS principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience in group reporting and consolidation accounts.
- Strong work ethic and organisational skills.
- Clear, effective communication while keeping information confidential.
