Job Description:
Multiple Positions Available
1) Senior Executive
- To handle the full spectrum of accounting functions to ensure the accounts are promptly updated and comply with statutory requirements
- Proper management of daily cash position, general banking activities with banks, inter-company advances, etc.
- Monitor cash and bank balances, ensure cash requirements are met and monthly cash flow planning.
- To ensure all accounting entries are posted correctly to the system.
- Prompt verification and submission of documents, payment vouchers, invoices, etc.
- Ensure all that periodic reports are promptly done and properly submitted to the relevant authority(ies) and properly filed.
- Liaise with relevant external parties, including auditors, tax consultants, legal advisors, bankers, government authorities, suppliers, etc.
- Review, recommend and implement internal controls and ensure compliance with current accounting practices & principles; and
- Prepare bank, debtors and creditors reconciliation and analysis.
- To carry out other ad-hoc duties as may be instructed or delegated by senior management from time to time.
2) Assistant Manager
- Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly closing and group consolidated accounts, including all notes to accounts and supporting workings.
- Compile and extract financial data of the group and its business units/subsidiaries, perform incisive, thorough, and detailed variance analysis, and provide commentaries reporting on the group's financial performance.
- Possess sound and strong technical knowledge in handling Group Consolidation Accounts.
- Prepare Bursa quarterly announcement reports and relevant board papers.
- Oversee the audit process for the group and assist in the preparation of reports and disclosures in the Annual Report.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance functions to ensure efficient and effective practices.
3) Assistant Manager
- Ensure smooth delivery of Finance transactions which includes timely processing of invoices, review and resolve any discrepancies arising from AP matching from supplier.
- Follow up on any discrepancies arise during month end close.
- Timely arrange AP Payments in accordance with payment timetable and company’s procedure and policies
- Review and reconcile payment batch against vendors report/ bank statements/ GL reports.
- Attend to accounts payable queries from employees and suppliers.
- Assist in month end closing- perform AP/GL reconciliation and other reports as per company’s policies.
- Preparation of Management Report and Financial Analysis as required for management decision making and control (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Forecast and ete).
- Daily accounting operations and month end closing.
- Checking through AP invoices are attached with PO, DO and other related matters before approving payments.
Job Requirement:
- Multiple Positions Available
- Candidate should possess a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Finance / Accountancy / Banking
- Preferably at least 4-6 years of related working experience.
- Preferably candidate specializing in Accounting / Auditing/ Construction/ Manufacturing or equivalent.
- Good communication skills in English, Chinese, Malay language for both spoken and written
