Main Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Have strong adaptability, coordination ability, learning ability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide on-site support for desktop hardware, desktop applications, email, printers, and network-related issues.
  • Setup, configure, and support MS Windows OS, Windows applications, and other user applications.
  • Perform on-site troubleshooting and hardware and software issues.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure system performance and prevent future issues.
  • Escalate issues to the next level of support when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in project rollouts, including installing new systems and technologies.
  • Maintain communication with customer until issues or request are fully resolved.
  • Perform administrative duties, including scheduling equipment or laptop loaners and organizing shipment to remote sites if required.

Skill and qualification

  • Candidates must have at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support, administration, maintenance, and configuration, with advanced IT knowledge preferred.
  • Proficient in Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, antivirus software, and other desktop applications.
  • Familiar with PC hardware, printers, and networking equipment.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or rotational shifts as needed.
  • Must be willing to travel (own transport required).
  • Employment Contract: 1-year employment contract, renewable annually.
