Job Title: IT Solution Sales Engineer (Presales)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the global presales business (Cloud and Storage product solution).
  • Responsible to identify customers' business pain points (business and IT architecture), explore and understand customers' requirements and design reasonable solutions.
  • Support global bidding projects, analyze customer bidding documents such as Request for Information (RFI) / Request for Proposal (RFP) / Request for Quotation (RFQ) to design solution, compliance (SoC), configuration and quotation (BoQ), and technical proposal.
  • In depth understanding of Huawei product and features to design and present technical solutions.
  • Engage with internal experts of product line and service delivery team to ensure the proposed solution is supported from order to delivery.
  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date competitive analysis and understanding the differences between Huawei and other industry players.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of technical architecture and solution design for Cloud and Storage.
  • Knowledge of Storage, Backup, Archiving, Disaster Recovery, Virtualization or Cloud.
  • Familiar with the products and solutions of at least one mainstream Storage and Cloud vendor.
  • Familiar with business and IT architecture of one or more industries such as Government, Finance, Transportation, Energy, ISP, Carrier.
  • Pre-sales or implementation experience in IT industry is preferred (Storage, Server, Data Center Network, Cloud).
  • Team player, self-motivated, result-oriented.
  • Possess strong analytical skills, empathy, communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to understand and capture business and technical requirements.
  • Proactive, innovative, ability to communicate easily and effectively at all levels in the organization.
  • Background or equivalent Degree in Engineering or IT is recommended.
  • Overseas business trip may be required.
