Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled Interior Design Drafter to join our Design & Build company, specializing in interior renovations. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for the following:
- Proven experience in drafting and designing interior spaces, showcasing a diverse portfolio is highly preferable.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Enscape is required; proficiency in Lumion, Photoshop and Illustrator is preferable.
- While a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, equivalent experience will be considered. Fresh graduates are welcome too.
- Conduct on-site visits to gather precise measurements and assess existing conditions in spaces slated for renovation.
- Collaborate with building management and landlords, working in tandem with our team, to secure necessary work permits and approvals for proposed designs.
- Collaborate with the project management team, ensuring seamless integration of design plans into the construction process.
- Work closely with our design and construction teams to understand client visions, preferences, and project requirements.
- Receive clear instructions and approvals on design changes before proceeding with detailed drawings.
- Stay informed about local building codes and regulations, ensuring all designs adhere to legal and safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of all design-related activities, maintaining a comprehensive record of project progression.
- Demonstrate the ability to create detailed technical drawings that align with industry standards and project specifications.
- Effectively manage time to meet project deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work and meeting project requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with building management and internal teams.
