Job Summary:
In line with our commitment to sustainability, customer experience, and cultural authenticity, we are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to develop innovative and energy-efficient design concepts for our expanding retail outlets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Persian and Middle Eastern culture and customs, enabling them to create spaces that resonate with our target customers and evoke a sense of familiarity and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys and analyse existing and proposed retail spaces.
- Develop creative and functional floor plans that maximize space usage for product display, customer flow, staff areas, and storage.
- Design and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) including shelving, refrigeration units, checkout counters, signage, and décor elements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is translated into construction documents.
- Select materials, finishes, and lighting solutions that create a visually appealing and brand-consistent environment.
- Prepare detailed construction drawings (including layout plans, elevations, sections, and details) and specifications for FF&E.
- Sketching, planning, and designing both the interior and exterior aspects of a space, with a specific focus on the renovation of shops.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient execution within set parameters.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Oversight of project and team operations in the construction division.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing retail spaces, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of Persian and Middle Eastern culture, customs, and design aesthetics.
- Excellent knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modelling software (e.g., Rhino, 3ds Max) and V-Ray software (architect software)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of food and beverage retail display strategies (including refrigeration layout) is a plus.
- Certifications such as LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) are a plus as we emphasize sustainable design.
