  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Mantissa College is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to design and develop engaging online learning materials for our Open Distance Learning (ODL) programmes in Business and Digital Marketing (Diploma / Degree) Faculty. This role is crucial in shaping the future of online education at the institution and requires someone who is innovative and knowledgeable in instructional design principles.

Job Scope:

  • Course Design & Development: Design and develop engaging online learning materials, including course content, assessments, and multimedia resources that enhance the learning experience.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex course content into effective online formats, ensuring that learning objectives are met.
  • Multimedia Utilization: Utilize various multimedia tools and software (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate) to create interactive and visually appealing learning experiences.
  • Accessibility & Quality Assurance: Ensure that all courses meet accessibility and quality standards, incorporating best practices in instructional design to accommodate diverse learners.
  • Feedback Implementation: Continuously improve course design based on learner feedback and evaluation data, staying current with advancements in educational technology and instructional design methodologies.
  • Training & Support: Provide training and support to faculty on best practices in course design and the use of instructional design tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in course authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia editing software.
  • Experience in designing online courses for Learning Management Systems (LMS), with a strong portfolio of previous work.
  • Understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and e-learning best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate course effectiveness and learner outcomes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
