Position: Finance Executive/ Senior

Reporting to: Senior Finance Manager

Location of work: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Job Overview:

This position will support the Finance team in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and compliance with financial regulations. This role involves liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial processes and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize all documents (soft copy & hard copy), ensuring accurate filing and record-keeping.
  • Prepare payment entries within the banking system.
  • Prepare and record accounting entries in accounting system.
  • Maintain daily, monthly, and yearly accounting schedules and ensure thorough record tracking.
  • Liaise with bankers, tax agents, auditors, company secretary, HQ’s Finance Team and other relevant personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records and GL entries for staff claims and approved expenditures.
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks and assignments as directed by management/superiors.

    • Demonstrates awareness and accountability for reporting and adhering to task deadlines.
    • Willingness to learn, improve, and remain committed to work with a high level of discipline.
    • Capable of working independently to complete assigned tasks in the absence of direct supervision.
    • Proficiency in Mandarin is considered an advantage for communication purposes.

    Education:

    • Possess at least a LCCI/Diploma in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Banking or equivalent.

    Experience:

    • 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
    • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

    Skills:

    • Advanced in MS Excel and PowerPoint is an added advantage.

    Attributes:

    • Ability to commence work immediately is an added advantage.
