Senior Executive - Quality Management & Assurance (50012)

Sunway College Academic Quality Office welcomes interested candidates to submit their resume for the below stated vacancy with the following job specifications:

You will be responsible for managing and analysing data for evaluation by the authorities and partner institutions such as MOHE and MQA. You will be part of a team to utilise statistical methods and tools to extract meaningful insights from raw data. You will also be responsible for optimizing data processes and ensuring data quality.

Responsibilities:

• Source and collect relevant data from internal and external sources (e.g., external counsellor).
• Collaborate with departments for accurate and timely data collection.
• Clean and validate data to maintain accuracy and resolve data integrity issues.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to extract insights and identify trends.
• Work with the process owner to resolve data integrity issues.
• Conduct internal audit to ensure compliance with the QMS requirements.
• Coordinate and prepare the institution for external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, MQA, MOHE, MyQuest and other stakeholder’s regulatory audits).
• Coordinate and facilitate ISO/Quality Management system training, workshops and briefings.
• Liaise with respective departments on the update and maintenance of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Possess a recognised Degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Quality Management or equivalent.
• Possess good knowledge of the Quality Management System of a higher education institution, including student services, curriculum design, assessment, etc.
• Possess knowledge and experience in managing ISO 9001 Quality Management System and internal audit.
• Strong command of English, report writing and communication skills.
• Proven experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Intermediate or advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis software.
• Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrate a strong determination to achieve goals and overcome challenges.
• Demonstrate initiative and takes proactive steps to take on tasks independently.
