Summary Description

  • Specific Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and present on a timely basis the actual vs last month profit and loss account.
  • Prepare accurate monthly management report for balance sheet review purposes.
  • Ensure proper conversion of USD GL to MYR GL for year-end local reporting requirement
  • Supervises and assists in managing the daily administrative function of the department such as assisting in providing data for local government bodies.
  • Address and resolve issues involving GL and oracle system.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate finance policies and proper execution of control laid out in the SOX documents.
  • Prepares for external audit and tax schedules; support the quarterly and annual audits.
  • Prepare consolidation report to support annual audits and reporting.
  • Handle and communicate with company secretary on all related matters.
  • Prepares accurate quarterly and annual tax provision
  • Prepares tax return and forecast for estimate of tax payables
  • Keep track of industry trends and changes related to tax regulations
  • Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payment and return
  • Prepare documentation and report to support IRB audits.
  • Handle and communicate with company tax agent on all related matters.
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time.
  • Position Requirement:

    • Candidate must possess Degree in Accounting or Equivalent Professional Qualification
    • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field
    • Able to handle GL, financial accounting and Tax
    • Oracle experience
    • Prior audit experience will be an advantage
