  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Title: SMT Engineer
Location: Penang, Malaysia (Greenfield Project)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and optimize SMT equipment and processes to meet production goals, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct programming, setup, and troubleshooting of SMT equipment (e.g., pick and place machines, solder paste printers, reflow ovens, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve SMT process issues, improve yield, and enhance overall production performance.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) by developing and validating SMT processes for new designs and prototypes.
  • Conduct process audits and implement improvements to ensure high-quality production and compliance with industry standards.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and implement corrective actions to improve process stability and output.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for SMT-related defects and issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields) with 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SMT processes and equipment in a PCBA manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of SMT machines, including programming, setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with SMT-related quality standards and industry best practices (e.g., IPC standards).
  • Experience with process optimization, line balancing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of NPI processes and the ability to adapt SMT processes to new product designs.
