Responsible for the entire procurement activities and ensuring the efficiency of its operations, from supplier selection to delivery.
To develop, implement and coordinate the procurement strategy to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality standards, and other cost-saving initiatives. (Analysis skills)
To manage, build and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships, to ensure timely delivery, quality, and competitive pricing.
To identify and mitigate potential risks associated with procurement, such as supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and price fluctuations.
To monitor and evaluate supplier performance against agreed-upon indicators, including delivery time, quality, and cost.
To lead the purchasing team to fulfil internal customers' demand on quality and delivery.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of CNC machining processes would be an added advantage
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
