  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Title: Test Engineer (PCBA/SMT Specialist)
Location: Penang, Malaysia (Greenfield Project)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain testing processes for PCBA and SMT production lines.
  • Create and execute test plans, including in-circuit testing (ICT), functional testing (FCT), and other relevant methods.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.
  • Work with engineering teams to design and implement automated test systems and fixtures.
  • Monitor and analyze test data to identify trends, optimize testing efficiency, and ensure product quality standards.
  • Support the installation and setup of new testing equipment in our greenfield facility.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, including IPC and other relevant testing protocols.
  • Continuously drive process improvements in test coverage, yield, and cycle time.
  • Provide technical guidance to the production team on testing-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, or a related field).
  • 3-5 years of experience in PCBA/SMT testing, with hands-on knowledge of ICT, FCT, and automated test systems.
  • Familiarity with PCBA/SMT testing standards (e.g., IPC standards).
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to electronic assemblies and test equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and act on test data.
