The Senior Executive – Strategic Healthcare Development will play a crucial role in assisting the department with medical strategies, operational excellence, and the implementation of new projects and initiatives.
Job Description
- Strategic planning: Assist in developing and implementing creative approaches and operational frameworks to augment healthcare services, improve patient experience offerings, and achieve organizational objectives
- Conduct analyses and research of regional healthcare trends, competitive landscape, economic factors to identify growth opportunities within the healthcare and health tourism industry
- Engage with various stakeholders and ecosystem players for information gathering and to strengthen health tourism strategies
- Assist in optimization of operational workflows and processes to deliver seamless care experiences for health tourists
- Partner with cross functional teams to assess demand and promote the country's services to health travellers
- Prepare reports or proposal papers for management on the strategic initiatives and outcomes
- Any other ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned by management
Requirement
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree in any healthcare related fields (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedical / Biotechnology, Health sciences, Nursing, etc)
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in healthcare field (experience in strategy and operations is preferable but not compulsory)
- Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of health trends and issues affecting regional/global healthcare
- Good data-driven decision-making capabilities and program management skills
- Stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate with diverse healthcare partners
- Demonstrated ability to implement healthcare strategies and solutions incorporating new ideas + technology will be advantageous
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu
